Sarah and Melvin Phipps extend a very warm welcome to you from our village pub and restaurant in Steeple Aston, Oxfordshire. Serving excellent Cask Marque accredited local ale alongside great value and accomplished pub food, including our famous Sunday lunch, the Red Lion is a traditional pub with a cosy bar, summer terrace and stylish dining area, the Garden Room.

Situated less than half a mile off the A4260 Oxford to Banbury road (look out for the brown Red Lion sign for the turning), we sit in an elevated position in the village with a view of the Cherwell Valley from the terrace.

There are many lovely walks in the area and we are only a mile from the Oxford Canal at Heyford.
